EXTRATAN 1 is a preparation based on condensed tannins and plant-derived polysaccharides, obtained from the wood of red berry plants (cranberry).
It is recommended for enhancing the fruity aromatic profile of wines, improving their quality, aromatic complexity, structure and overall taste balance. Its use is recommended from the early stages of wine aging and it can be added up to one week before bottling.
This tannin preparation has a refreshing effect and enhances the fruity notes associated with cranberry. It is particularly suitable for young red wines, helping to intensify fruity characteristics prior to bottling, but it can also be used in rosé wines to improve structure and amplify aromatic expression.
Wines treated with ExtraTan 1 are generally more pleasant, more complex and, above all, exhibit improved stability over time and greater resistance to premature aging.
